What counts as a wiki term

  • A term qualifies when it names a legal concept, doctrine, procedure, institution, office, document or measure that is part of India's law, its justice system or judicial data. Examples: Case pendency, Vakalatnama, National Tribunals Commission, Case clearance rate.
  • It should have a legal basis (a statute, rule or judgment) or an established use in courts or judicial data, so the page can meet the Definition and Legal basis sections.
  • Leave out project names, report titles, people, firms, general words used in their everyday sense, and one-off phrases from a single report.
  • Title it as it is most commonly written in Indian law, in sentence case. Abbreviations become redirects (NCLT → National Company Law Tribunal).
  • If a DAKSH report uses the term, the page must list it under Related DAKSH research. Add {{Related DAKSH research}} there, and cite the report with the Copy wiki citation button.
