About
The Justice Definitions Project was launched in August 2023 by the Judicial Data Collaborative. It is a volunteer and community-driven initiative dedicated to building a free and open-access shared learning platform, Justice Definitions Wiki, providing comprehensive, inclusive, and credible information on legal and justice system-related terminology.
Mission
We are working towards democratising legal information. Legal information is scattered and complex, so we offer reliable, accessible explanations from diverse sources with an aim to empower citizens to understand and use legal concepts on this platform. We believe in the power of collaboration. This platform is co-curated by India's legal community, ensuring you receive credible and accurate information. We partner with law students, academics, legal practitioners, law firms, and research institutions across India to bring you a trusted resource.
